Silent Hill Community and the Doctor Who Thread

Post by Norus_Rebirthed »

SHC finally gets a Doctor Who thread.
Grew up with Tom Baker. Didn't think it would ever be back. When it returned in 2005 i had no idea it would be as massive, bigger than it's ever been, as it did.
Now these decades later the 15th Doctor.
The singing Goblins in the last Christmas special were a low point for me.
But onwards and upwards for the launch of Doctor Who on Disney+ in over six hours time of posting.
Don't know anything about it? He's called Doctor Who. Time and Space travel. Mad stuff happens. May as well start here.
Still prefer Jodie Whittaker as The Doctor.
Remember "It's not as good as it used to be!" Hahaha!

Some fans get uppity and demand the original 1963-1989 run should be separated.
Well not here! Although the thread title is a reference to those Terrance Dicks Doctor Who novelisations from the 1970's onwards that helped me learn to read.

Looking forward to new series! Not going to make head or whatever from it until it suddenly clicks.
Advertisement for this series on Bus Stops in America. That's new for this series. The others didn't get that.

Well Space Babies was one of the worst episodes ever made! But thankfully to avoid misery for a week, I'm glad The Devil's Chord got released. Incredible 37 minutes that touches the atmosphere of the IT movies.
Then falls off near the end.
EDIT: But on second watch the fall off is not that far
Welcome back! Can't wait for the more serious episodes to come.
