Did any new info about the patches surface from E3 I didn't have a chance to watch it.

Nope, nothing.
At this point, the reputation of this HD collection is miles below ground.

Thanks for such a quick reply Mother, That sucks .... I hope they are actually still working on them... and downpour's patch should have been finished a while ago... if the HDC patch is taking so long then just release the DP patch so I've have a SH game to play XD

I've not had many major issues with SH2...... SH3 has serious framerate issues though

they could at least give us an update now, it's been 6 weeks or so that they've announced they were working on a patch, and that it would be ready withing the next few weeks!

Honestly, i wouldn't be surprised if this upcoming update doesn't fix much, Konami's an expert in hiring incompetent developers.

I'm starting to think there won't even be a patch for the hd collection, I sent Konami an email this week, asking them when this will be released, I didn't get an answer yet.

really, when did he say that? as far as I know, I haven't seen any news about this patch since it's announcement at the end of April. if you are right then I'm fine with the delay, as long as they fix this game a bit!

yeah I just read what he said, he simply doesn't know any details about the patch, but they're still working on it... that's enough for me!

The patch is now available on PSN:

• Improved Framerate
• Voice Synch is greatly improved
• Missing sounds have been fixed
• Missing music has been addressed
• Fog density issues are resolved
• Other minor visual/audio improvements

Is it available now? The email I just got said it was coming tomorrow.

Just PSN awww ... well I'm still waiting on the 360 version.... anyway how is the patch? is there a noticeable difference?

So far, I've gotten to the scene when you meet Maria, and the fog covers the unfinished area, and while playing the game, the world has more fog. Framerate still occurs a little outside, but at least James won't stutter while running anymore. Sounds that have been missing (screaming man in apartments) and some more work.

Overall the game's more enjoyable >:) I'll play SH3 as well, since I haven't tried it yet.

Haven't downloaded the patch yet, anyone, could someone tell me is Heather is till running is that frustrating slow motion?
