im stuck on this cant seem to kill it so i have given up on the game it takes far to long to kill it without any bullets only have axe and crowbar wish there was a cheat to skip it lol

The trick is to be patient and time your dodges well, as long as you have health you should be alright.

add to that you have to concentrate on the legs to warp them out and dodge... every time you do that she will be bowing on her knees and then you get close to her and then...you can go kill it ..its easy and you can do it ^^

The first time I played SILENT HILL: HOMECOMING, I couldn't defeat Scarlet no matter what I did. Turns out it was a glitch, and therefore impossible, so after I reset the game and backtracked, I defeated it on the first attempt. Didn't change what I did, or strategy, nothing, but it worked.

Try resetting the game and come back to it from your last save. It's not that much backtracking if you saved recently.

I bloody hate this boss. She is the hardest boss i have faced on any silent hill game and is really a bitch to do. I have played all the released games arcade and online included and this is the worst thing i have faced. I found the best way to defeat her is just to learn her every move and be very quick at dodging other wise have fun indying lol

Scarlet is pretty easy, you just have to be patient. When the battle starts run behind one of the book cases. After she strikes jump out with the ax and hit the sack with 2 fast attacks and 1 strong attack. Then jump back behind the book case and repeat that process until the sack is gone. Then go on to the next book case and do the same thing until all the sacks are gone. Once that happen she turns into something resembling a spider. This part is a little harder, dodge her attack and when you do her claw will be stuck in the ground. Now run up and hit it with the ax, this should maker her head drop. When that happens run up and get is many strong head shots as you can. Just repeat that process until she's dead. It's not that hard but you have to be patient. It's basically just dodge, attack, dodge, attack, etc. If you try to stay in one place and get as many shots as you can you'll keep getting hit. You'll end up going through all your first aid kits and health drinks and be screwed later in the game. Give what I stated a try, it worked fine for me and I only got it a couple times.

I found that using a gun on her for the first round was easy. I just kept running from one end to the other trying to shoot her limbs until she fell and smashed her with the ax. And after about the third fall it should let you continue to the second phase where it's really just about patience and dodging. Having the dodging cues up on screen helps as well.

I got it half right, lol. the part with the sacks is the first boss but as far as hitting her in the head when she drops down is right (scarlet boss). Funny thing is I'm playing through SHH right now for the first time. I just got them "somewhat" confused. I'm almost done with the game, I'm at the church right now. Thanks for the correction.
