Help! I'm stuck on a Boss! :(

I'd defeat God in 6min! I take an old save before Memory of Alessa an go trough the end saving more health and ammo. But I still don't like using the buletproff vest, prefer her faster and smart. I use the gun to bring her down, the Katanta in twice front strike (and get out!), shotgun and submachine. God dies with a strike of Katana, cool!

But I get the Possessed ending... don't know why... Also she win a new custom that is to ridiculous - I mean TO RIDICULOUS !!!

How she get out after killing God?

It can be assumed that she gets out since the Otherworld typically goes away after a major character or being is defeated, or when something major happens. Now that the God has been killed, as well as Claudia, there's no reason for the Otherworld to be there at the time. Heather and Douglas get out safely then.

As for her being possessed, there's still no real explanation as to what's going on there, which is cool. Some think she's truly possessed by Claudia or someone else perhaps, while others think she's metaphorically possessed with the desire to kill, since in order to get the ending, you have to basically have a bloodlust and kill everything you see.

to many monsters killed lead to possessed ending. Also there is the scene in the confessionary is very important, you should not forgive such sins! It's some moral like you can kill to goes on, but cannot get excited. There is a clue about this for us in the talking at the library: - they look monsters to you?

Yeah, apparently there's some point system in place and if you do certain things that add up to enough of them, you get the possessed ending. The basic requirements are killing a ton of monsters, sustaining a lot of damage from them, and forgiving the person in the confession booth.

It's been a few years since I've looked into this, but I wonder if anybody ever got Possessed on their first playthrough or if it's even possible to do so.

I am confident, but not certain, that the game forces you to get the Normal ending on a first run.

As I read about, in the first run you always go to normal ending. It's an interesting formula: in the second run, ok, Heater is already a big girl, got to behave well to win the big prize!

Well, I defeated the boss in normal mode so I don't know how much of a help I can be, but I'll give it a shot.
I guess just do what you're doing, unloading all your bullets into it. I wouldn't recommend using the maul, go with the katana.

I don't know if you're getting damaged by the fire a lot, but if you are, run back to where the fire started and slowly chase it. I learned that a good time to hit the boss with a melee is when she throws out the fire path. The only downside is that if you don't move quick enough, the flames will get you.
