Awesome! I have no life because I have been so busy with work lately, which eats up my every waking moment. However, I can always take a break for podcasts. Powergramo works for 2 people, you and the person you're talking to, for free, then I think it costs money to have more people. I don't remember how much. I'm a cheap bitch so I look for free stuff.

But yeah, paintings. Damn. I have a similar goal of recreating what I can, especially 1-3, but there is stuff in 4 I'd like, too... Misty Day was the obvious one for me, but I also want to finish my sh1 painting of a door soon.

I'll probably be on all day every day until Wednesday because I'm busy translating about 23 hours a day, chained to my computer and drinking copious amounts of coffee. In the meantime, I need to gather together the rest of the contest entries so I can announce it tomorrow.. Right now I need to finish up the translation I have to do by 8am and go to bed. Argh.

It costs only if you talk to more than 1 person? Hmm, that's odd. Most of the other ones I've tried on a trail basis just allow you to record for a few minutes at a time, then they cut off and ask you to register. I'll look into this one nonetheless. Being that usually it's just me and my podcasting co-host, it shouldn't be a problem.

I've estimated that 'Door' painting to be about 8ft. x 6ft. IRL, though you.......probably wouldn't want to go quite that big heheh. Its honestly my favorite replica I've done, even more than the 'Misty Day' painting. The 'Light Illuminating Darkness' one turned out real well too I feel. I didn't do as good on the other SH1 3rd floor attic painting, 'Light to the Future'. For reference though, all I had to work from were some tiny, low-res, still screen grab pics from the game. If I'd known at the time that there were actually slightly better quality images from SH3 hidden away, which you helped to uncover on your site, those no doubt would've helped me do a better job. Which I, very well may attempt to again at some point...

Translating sounds like a pretty neat job, wish I had such expertise. Oh yes, to address your query about Troy Baker uh......no, I was not able to get an interview. I spoke to him very briefly, and got his autograph, but beyond that he was off limits. And that 'Silent Hill' panel scheduled, was cancelled. What a fucking WASTE, of my time(not to mention $$$).

Why don't you guys use Skype recorder? It's free too and it works well!

BTW SilentEvil I'm bummed that you were unable to interview Troy and that the trivia panel was canceled. You would have kicked ass that's for sure!

@SilentEvil: Translating can be such a pain in the ass. The deadlines, mostly... I often wonder why I got into this. ^_^ I've spent many a sleepless night translating dental invoices.

Nero wav editor, which is the same thing I've always used. If there's static, it's because skype was acting up and lagging a lot. otherwise, no difference between software in this episode and any other episode.
