Personally I think we should complain everywhere and much more often, instead of on Tumblr.

Tomm Hulett was only involved with the audio portion. He was an associate producer, not producer. There is a difference.

It's Mothersdecent, he complains in every post. It's the best to leave logic when you're talking with him.

Even better considering the audio is just as broken.

I complain about shitty ports and you complain about some random forum posts, you're not one to talk about logic.

It's more that whenever we see you post, it's nothing but hatred. I don't think I've ever seen you say something nice about anything, and if you have, I don't remember it because it's being overshadowed by the anger.

On-topic, though, I don't see a point in making a Tumblr about it. With the fan outcry, they know they did a bad job and they're working on it. Maybe not hard-working, and Konami probably doesn't give a damn unless it sells very poorly, but working nonetheless.

Yes, this. It gets really annoying.

Do you have anything nice to say? Or do you just want to complain about newer games and other SH related stuff?

I don't know the extent that he was (meaning if he had control over the sync). That being said, I think that hardly qualifies as "better" because he would only be responsible for that portion of the game, not the rest of the glitches.

It goes beyond the sync; it's bad music loops, changed and broken sound design, overly re-used (bad) sound effects. The list goes on and on.
If the sound had remained at least unchanged from the originals, it would definitely qualify as better than what they made of it in this port.

Tomm barely had anything to do with the HDC since he's not a part of Hijinx.

Also, bitching even more won't do anything whatsoever. It's been a month already, Konami is fully aware of all the issues people have reported. Whether or not they'll act on it is up to them, but for most people, it's too little too late. Many people have taken the games back to gamestop and other places and traded them in, so it won't matter for them if a patch comes out.

He STILL produced the damn thing, what the hell is so hard to understand about that? He might have not developed it, but he produced it, meaning he had to have had some type of overlook on the project and it's staff.
You'd think he'd do his job seeing how he's always so in touch and close to the "fans".

Just fix the audio and some of the slowdowns in SH2 and I will be happy.

Sadly I don't see Konami doing anything. We may have to wait another 5-10 years until we get a truly well done high res version of SH2 and 3. I can see Konami sweeping this under the rug completely and just distancing themselves from something that has brought them much negative publicity.

On the bright side the games will continue to be popular, so I can imagine that this won't be the last rerelease of these two now classic ten year old games. Team Silent is long gone so their mark on the series will have to endure in the form of rereleases not unlike rereleasing movies for the next big format.

Hopefully next time they will get it right, though.

There's nothing hard to understand about that. What's hard to understand is why you enjoy making huge deals out of nothing and overblowing everything.

Associate producer doesn't really mean much. For all we know, he probably checked in once a month to see how things were going. And he probably saw the same things we saw when they released the various trailers: a game which looked just fine, but apparently, as we would find out when the HDC released, wasn't.

As for the game getting re-released again, doubt it unless it's on the PS4/Next Box/Wii U. For now, if people wanna play the games in high-res, they'll have to make due with the PC versions.

No at all, it's just that i actually care for the series. And i doubt he got paid just for checking in once a month to see how things were doing, he had to have been more involved than what you're making it seem which is to no surprise seeing how there's seems to be a lot of Tom butt licking individuals around.

It's obvious that you have no idea what "producing" is.

First of all, he's "Tomm", not "Tom", and this is coming from someone who likes to get name spellings right (not a "Tomm butt licker").

Second, I suggest you brush up on your definitions. I'll help you out:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game_producer

For an internal producer, associate producers tend to specialize in an area of expertise depending on the team they are producing for and what skills they have a background in. These specializations include but are not limited to: programming, design, art, sound, and quality assurance.

Tomm has already mentioned things about the game's sound multiple times, which then logically leads to him only dealing with that department. Pinning the blame on him for the entire project is ridiculous.

I also really don't care for you insinuating that we don't care about the series.
