I have to laugh. Konami did a weak job on this release, and I hope it comes back to bite them

Konami deserves the bad press. This is just unacceptable

Amazon had recently just put a hault to the HD Collection because of the problems it has stated by reviewers.

So glad this is happening, and I hope this teaches Konami to respect their consumers more.

No, I merged the topics because there were two topics saying the same thing. His was posted first so it shows up first.

Interesting. I wonder if other retailers will follow Amazon's lead?

When their blurb finishes by saying "We're working to fix the problem as quickly as possible", it almost reads like Amazon are going to fix all the game's glitches themselves, which I think is a pretty humorous thought :D

And I know that's not the case before someone misunderstands my post. I just thought it was funny lol.

Looks like they are selling them again. I really don't know what that was about.

Interesting.

BTW, sorry to be a spelling nazi, but the word is spelled "halt," not "hault," which means something completely different.

Yeah, they are selling the games again.

Personally I have no idea why Amazon put a stop on the Collection to begin with, there's really not much they could do about the games regardless.

Some guy over at GFAQs claimed to have called up Amazon and complained to them about it, and he took credit for them putting it under review. I've no idea what he thought it would achieve, honestly.

On Amazon UK it simply says "Currently unavailable". I'm still not sure whether it's still coming out on Mar 30th.

Haha, yeah. Docman is going crazy over there turning himself into some sort of Messiah or something about that.

I find most of the time that he kinda just says a lot of crap that makes no sense. Like yesterday he was talking about how lame it would be if Konami said that European TVs are different from American Tvs so the Collection runs perfectly over there.

This was after I had to explain to him that a majority of the difference is the amount of Hertz electronics are geared for over there.

I whated.

But still, why report problems to Amazon of all people. I knew that as soon as they put a halt on it they'd kinda just scratch their head for a few days and then be like, "Kay." and start selling it again since uh, they literally can't do anything to the games.

Yeah lol. There's barely any difference between TV's internationally now, unless someone's still using old CRT sets and watching standard def TV or something lol. HD resolutions typically aren't bound by any sort of Hz standards like the old days, so if he'd try to spin that some way, I just don't even know lol.

There was a void to fill after wheep stopped posting, heh heh!. I think it took about three people over there to fill it. The worst part of it all is that it really blows the situation out of proportion and gets people worked up more than they need to be.

Yes, they are. I ordered from ShopTo.net and they have dispatched to me. Might even get it tomorrow...

I think it's just Amazon.co.uk that don't seem to know what they're doing at the moment.
