I haven't listened to the whole thing, but I really like Perp Walk. I'd say it's up there with some of Yamaoka's best.

Intro Perp Walk reminded me the most of Akira's stuff... and having McGlynn's haunting "ahhs" on it just helped push it over the edge of awesome.

His mandolin playing is superb.

And Bus to Nowhere is lovely, too.

You know what I'd like?

A Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, and Dan Licht composed soundtrack.

If the song "Born Free is on the soundtrack then that is my favorite. I've become obsessed with that song now.

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross NEED to be involved in the soundtrack - hell I like Dan Licht and his soundtrack but I would throw it over to those two and Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn to deliver the goods for the next game.

I love Intro Perp Walk and Bus to Nowhere. The way they bleed into each other in the game is just awesome. I actually think of them as two parts of a longer track. The Downpour is also pretty sweet.

Off the top of my head I can say "Perp Walk" and "Silent Hill." I'll edit my post when I can match tracks to names. I would have loved "Clowning Around with Monsters" if it didn't have the ridiculous laughing. I'm sorry, it was too much. Other than that, it had a great bass sound to it that I just adored.
