Woah. You can hear the Yamaoka influence, but at the same time he's not afraid to do his own thing. It has less of the eeriness and atmosphere than the previous soundtracks, but a lot more emotion.

I am very optimistic about this game's soundtrack if this is any indication of the overall quality.

I absolutely loved the track. It's different than Yamaoka, but it's got a very moody feel. I can't wait to hear the rest. If the game is as good as the title track is, then we have a great game. Still...I'm just worried Downpour won't feel like a Silent Hill game. From what I've watched, I don't even get anywhere near the same feeling as the older games (this happened with Shattered Memories and Homecoming too).

I´d like it so much. Is a nice trip. In the other hand, i think the 'first half' fits perfectly with Silent Hill but the 'second half' is more like mysterious, losing that melancholic feel we all know and which is a pilar in the series. Hopely it will work well on the game.

I like the drum parts, he even used rewind drum audio for percussions, that's ingenious.
