Who was the real woman, if anyone knows? Pretty interested in this.

I have no idea...Cybil's model itself and alot of other SH characters kinda resemble Cameron Diaz in the face, but as for the person herself? I don't know who she's actually based upon...

Well, I tried a Google search, but the name Bennett is very popular, so I ran across quite a few murders involving people named Bennett. The statement says the name is slightly altered, so it's probably something that sounds close to Bennett, like perhaps Benson or something. I'm gonna look into it and see if I can find anything.

Can't say for sure but my money's on Laurie Bembenek.

Hmm that's close to Bennett, and she was a cop. I think we may have a potential match here.

Hmm, that was a great read. She honestly seemed innocent to me, mainly because the murdered lady's two sons said they saw a male assailant commit the murder. Whether it's her or not who was the inspiration for Cybil though, who knows?

Whoops. My bad, she was a murderer after all.

Clips, good observation. I always thought Cybil was a dead ringer for Cameron Diaz as well. Wouldn't it be cool to see her in such a role in a movie (even though I know that it won't happen)? Has she ever even done a horror movie??

She's been in The Box. Although that was a psychological thriller.
