I...don't recall. They used dead bodies in most areas, but they were different models each time (or in different positions).

I'm referring to James's model, but at least that was partly symbolic.

Totally symbolic. <3 The most notable is the dead body in front on the t.v. in the apartments.

I dunno if it's like this on the PS3 version, but on the PC version:
- Sound is terrible, symptoms include: barely audible dialogue while very loud sound effects, audio coming out of only one earphone, fluctuations in audio levels
- Game freezes for 1-2 seconds trying to load, outside of loading screens
- Absolutely terrible mouse movements in puzzles mode (for example, the famous bookcase bug)
Things I don't like that applies universally:
- 3rd person view (Alex blocks 1/3 of the screen, means you can't see what he's actually seeing in front of him, so annoying)
- Main character is a military guy
- Blurry textures on lots of objects

Well, I'm talking about this guy, who is just a repeated piece of decor throughout the entire game. It's sort of humorous and almost like finding the hidden cheese in Perfect Dark except not challenging at all.

Too much running from point A to point B without anything going on in between. Seriously, there aren't many monsters to fight in the town until late in the game, and the atmosphere wasn't scary enough to carry the gameplay at that point. It was just Alex trucking it (without a run button which made me sad) for a long time.
The only difference between savage and sophisticated is the proper seasoning.

SH1 & 2 were pretty much that exact same thing, mindless wandering around with an occasional random monster battle until you found whatever it is you needed.

I totally agree with that which is why I don't feel there is much weight to the "Endless Running" criticism.

This has probably already been posted, but what the hell.

The Game Engine: Does anyone know what they used for this? After playing many other games using the U3 engine the glitches and problems in Homecoming feel very familiar....

Geographic Placement: Okay, you want a town close to Silent Hill. That's great and all, but did you have to put it on Toluca Lake so obscurely?

Silent Hill Broke Off into Toluca?: I still can't get over that the eastern side of the new Silent Hill somehow broke off into Toluca Lake.

Camera Horizontal Panning: This crap was way too slow. I would have liked a quick turn option like in SH1.

^The developers made their own engine for some silly reason. That's the cause for most of the glitches.

Judging by his posts so far, he's a barely literate Team Silent ballwasher. If you want elaboration, just read some other ballwasher's word vomit.
The above post is intended to be factual, unless it isn't.

? The only thing you said is "everything". That's not even a proper post, nor contributing much to the discussion. It's fine if you don't like the games, but when you make that kind of response in a civil discussion, yes you are going to get those kind of responses. Don't make those kind of posts and then get mad when people respond to you. :|

Besides, all rollerfan asked you was to elaborate. That's a pretty reasonable response to your post.
