The game would feature an all new vision of horror as you play the infamous Walter Sullivan.
You would be able to revisit our favorite levels as well as venture deeper behind the story of the Sullivan cases.
It would feature content as demented as Walter himself for edge of your seat fear.
The final boss would be Henry giving back to the original game

I've been trying to contact tomm hulett but Konami isn't exactly easy to get at as you would imagine

Well I wish with you're help to make an hd silent hill 4 and who knows they might listen

An interesting spin on things, but what exactly does Walter do in the games besides kill the other people and stalk Henry? It'd be a nice way to view the storyline, but I couldn't see a full game based off of it. Maybe an added bonus with the original game. I do wish they would release a SH4 and Origins HD bundle just so I don't have to plug up my PS2 again (I mean, I will eventually, but it would be good to be able to get my SH fix from my PS3, and no, not Homecoming). Also, putting the first Silent Hill on there would be amazing too, as it would give 360 players a chance to experience it (nothing changed, just upscaled resolution so that it isn't quite so blurry).

I'm not sure if a total Silent Hill 4 rehash really qualifies as "an all new vision of horror".

I am sure that Tomm Hulett and Konami, if presented with the idea, will respond with polite refusal because a thosuand other fans have probably pitched this exact same idea to them over the last eight years.

I think it could make a newer vision of horror, where you ARE the horror in the game, but really, this idea just wouldn't work because it isn't really enough to base a whole game on. Also, I'm sure Hulett would reply with a no, as Silent Hill 4 isn't exactly the highest point of the series, and also for the reasons I have stated above. It would cost more to produce than it would make, I'm sure. I'm all for an HD version of the original SH4 though, and I hope it is released sometime in the near future. Now, you could get to them about reworking SH1 to deliver a newer graphical package...(nothing else changed though)

I'm sure they got this idea once or twice but it would be interesting and qualify for today's "silent hill horror need

Now that's An even more asked and unanswered question by Konami that I agree should happen
But if did it would only get rid of some fog and add higher resolution to the levels and character design which would take forever because silent hill's mapping is in the " Konami vault"

I know it's been asked for time and time again, but I feel like newcomers to the series will put off the title for it not being up to standards graphically. I know it's a stupid complaint, as I absolutely love everything about the first game in the series, but it's like a lot of people are being left in the dark. Another thing is the distribution. You can buy Silent Hill on PSN for a small $6, but for those that have XBox or Wii and got Shattered Memories or the HD Collection should be able to experience the series. Oh yeah, and Konami really needs to spread back into PC releases. I hate that the whole Silent Hill series isn't on PC...

As much as I would like to have seen the ideas SH4 brought to the table better realized than how they turned out I wouldn't want a remake or sequel of any kind to this tale. However, it would be nice for SH4 to get little easter eggs and references in future titles since it always seems to be the one left out.

Downpour has an exact replica of Henry's apartment minus the coffee table and ceiling fan. You just can't enter anything other than the living room.

It's an interesting idea but being realistic it ain't gonna happen.

This could of worked out easily as a Scenario story like they did in SH2 with Maria.

yeah thats what i mean, they did "i got a letter"cin two and then they did maria's sidequest so i thought it could be a short sidequest in a possible hd collection for 4
