The Scariest Haunting

Someone mentioned the baby doll thing. But the ghost, I think that it's Jimmy, coming out of the wall is pretty freaky.

For me the scariest haunting was the sound of the cat near the fridge and seeing Andrew DeSalvo's head fly up outside the window.

Unfortunately, the painting haunting is the only one I haven't gotten yet! REALLY HOPING I do. I'm always waiting for it! XD But to me, the scariest was always the ghost (who I thought was Joseph) haunting coming through the wall. I remember the first time I got that, I turned around to see what the racket was and was like, "OH MY GOD! RUNNNNNN HENRY!! RUNNN!"

I believe the phone call is the scariest so I set it as my ring tone "I'm always watching you" ... Classic

The only one that weirded me out was the Walter painting, because I wasn't totally paying attention and I wasn't even sure if I saw it the first time. I was like, wait a minute, WTF was that? and it faded away.

I didn't find the hauntings scary but I found them effective, because they induced a sense of dread in the room, which used to be the one safe place earlier in the game. I appreciated that.

Yeah, I liked the closet one, too. I had almost forgotten about that one. I need to play SH4 again soon, it's been quite a while.

Jimmy Stone coming out of the wall was the only one that really got me. It was mostly just startling- it made this loud, horrible noise and when I saw something beginning to come through I was like, "oh fuck this" & moved to the living room. AND THEN HE WAS THERE TOO. The fact that he just sits there and looks around is kind of anti-climactic, but it's still creepy as fuck.

I've never gotten the painting haunting; I suppose I'll have to play again. It's been a while. The cat in the fridge is pretty disturbing & make me a little sad. Henry outside of the door is really intense too; I think the bleeding peephole by itself is rather ominous.

I gotta play this again. The only ones I remember are all those babies in the wall crying and the phone message saying "I'm always watching you." That one kinda creeped me out a bit.

Yeah I didn't know that either. But that was my top scariest haunting.
