I just got the scariest haunting. I had to turn off the game.

I awoke in my room, only to find Walter Sullivan lying in bed beside me and he said "You were amazing last night." SO SCARY. Almost as bad as the one when I went into the living room and Pyramid Head was smoking pot and eating all my cheetos.

There should have been a haunting where you discover him looking in your fridge and he says "You're out of milk!"

Then again, maybe only I would find that scary.

I thought the baby things on the wall screaming were the scariest.

WALTER PAINTING. ALL DAY. EVERY DAY.
I love the Silent Hill Series. The new games did nothing wrong whatsoever, they were developed well, and did things different. I believe that Silent Hill Downpour will make all Silent Hill fans happy. Team Silent doesn't exist, but their series does.

I'm also gonna have to say, that Walter painting. Scary as hell. I jumped when Henry woke up in bed the time that painting was on the wall. Wow. Although the shadow in the closet was bad too.

I'm rather surprised that Henry didn't shit a brick either when his lovely church photo was replaced by Walter's face.

I'd have to go with the shadow in the closet, walter's face in the painting and possibly the windows slamming up and down...the hauntings that doesn't show you anything or that just ghave weird things happening that you can't see are the most disturbing.

Although i do like the haunting that shows the ghosts coming through walls, but that is a bit much "in your face" and painfully obvious as to what is going on, but in another sense it does gives a strong indication that s**t is about to hit the fan and the apt is about to be overrtaken by Walter's otherworld...
Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding....these are the basic fundamentals of life....

If you can't amaze them with brilliance, baffle them with bulls**t...

I love the rock and a hard place this game puts the player in.
You could go through the hole and nearly get killed, run out of ammo or health drinks or... you could stay at home and watch our sanctuary crumble away before your eyes!

I think I might try and play 4 before Christmas... actually, maybe not! I'd love to see it in a second HD release, but I'm not holding my breath. Mainly because Walter can hear me when I do that.

The scariest haunting for me... was Henry's ghost outside the door. That scared the s*** outta me. I also still remember looking through the hole in the wall to Eileen's room and seeing that f***ing bunny staring at me. Not exactly a haunting, but that scared me more than anything else.

Waking up with Frank was much, much more painful...

The heads gave me a bit of a start when I first saw them, mostly because they don't occur too often...at least, I don't think they do...? At any rate, they're easy to miss, you might not see them on your first [couple of] playthrough[s]. In retrospect they're more funny than they are scary but looking out the window and one just popping out right in front you is not exactly what you expect...

The whole game made me throw my console across the room several times...I had fun.
