Okay, overdue update. I'm making progress with the voice actor, she's had throat problems for ages which is why I haven't been able to make much progress the last few months.

Like I said, it seems to be clearing up. Hold me too that christmas deadline, if I fail, feel free to slap me 'round the face with a wet haddock.

Sorry, no PH in this machinima. I'm trying to be as original as I can without being a 3D modeller. I do all the filming in singleplayer and that's just how I work best. Plus I have like a million addons I use to film and I'm not on a decent PC enough to have a server.

Anyway! Update!

Another deadline down the toilet, I'll have a proper update video up soon but basically I've hit two brick walls.
Some of the custom maps I'm using to film in were fucked over by the september Gmod update (again, more detail in the video) and my VA crisis continues. The VA who was going to do this role hasn't seen any improvements with her throat so she said she was fine with me recasting the role:

- Young woman, mid 20s, normal mostly but can get hot tempered, can get quite manic

Send auditions to me at TheUltimateGentleman@gmail.com. Here are some lines:
-"Why did you have to sneak around like that?! With all those things around! I could've killed you you bastard!" (manic)
-"Okay, you're alive. Sorry...I...just, it's dark and there are those freaks everywhere. And then you come sneaking into the room..." (slowly calming down)
-"I can't believe you were just gonna let me go out there on my own!" (annoyed)

I would prefer you sent me at least 3 attempts of each line.

Again, like I said, more details in the video but seeing as you've all been super patient and supportive I'm giving you an update early.

The moron that makes this series finally released a new episode!



Actually I split what was going to be a 20-25 minute episode into two episodes around 10-15 minutes long, what with all the problems I'm facing with Garrysmod and the voice cast. So I decided to split it as I think I've kept you guys waiting long enough.

Huzzahs and rejoicing! I finally got fraps to behave in Garrysmod! To celebrate, I started filming an improv'd scene for Episode Three.

But I reiterate that I still need help recasting. If you're interested or wouldn't mind spreading the word, all the info is in the first post.

More bad news I'm afraid.

The graphics card on the computer I use to film has finally caved, having seen eight years of loyal service. Whenever the next episode comes out, I'd like to dedicate it to our fallen crew member...Mr G. Card.



I may be out of action for a while when it comes to machinimating, but we will be back!
