im about to do a whole host of dumb things because ive just picked up a european PAL version for PS2 and even though the game is still in english the packaging and instructions are all in German! .... WOOHOO Schwartzkopf! - what can I say I was desperate to play and it was the last copy in this god forsaken city! - anybody else noticed how rare these old titles can be and how hard its becoming to get a hold of a decent (good condition) copy is!?

I think I actually killed a ghost once. I kept going Jack Nicholson on him, and then I proceeded to curbstomp the ever lovin- shit outta him. He never got back up. But then again, I was playing on Easy.

I wasted every single revolver round before the big boss fight...I died horribly. Wasted every pistol round on a ghost and died. Wasted 10 round for the pistol trying to kill Eileen. Tried to kill Walter in the Water Prison World...died slowly.

I bet down on the first Greedy Worm for about ten minutes until I realized that it was unkillable.

I did too. I didn't know what the hell I was supposed to do.

At the final boss, I forgot to leave slots empty. I ended up running around the room, thinking, "What am I gonna do?!"

Those fungi are really gross, at first I thought they were unkillable obstacles, until I read in the guide that they don't even attack you and gets killed in one hit.
I also thought the first Twin Victim (these are seriously the most disturbing monster I've ever seen in a video game) was unkillable, like a roadblock, since it just looks so freaky.

Lol, I did the same thing because I wanted to take plenty of health packs. At least I could use mine to open up room though.

Hitting the Ghosts repeatedly having the preconceived notion that they would eventually die....and of course the Holy Candles, I had no idea what to with them during my first playthrough.

Tried to kill Walter the first time he appeared, believing it was a mini boss fight D:< Fail was achieved
Advised my brother to pack two health items and a lot of weapons before final battle leaving only one slot open for special boss item. Then realized I'd screwed him over and casaully mentioned "sorry, you're f%$&ed"

^ This, this, this. Though I don't like to talk about it because I hate the ghosts in SH4.

I also spent a stupid amount of time spying on Eileen and Robbie the Rabbit through the little peep hole in Henry's apartment. And staring outside the windows. And fucking with the radio. And running circles around Cynthia. . .

Oh, and getting really scared about the shadow in his bedroom closet and refusing to look at anything while running to the hole. I honestly let his apartment go to complete shit because I wasted my candles and didn't want to spend ANY time in there.

It was all my first playthrough....
1. I never tried to clear the hauntings in the apartment.
2. Wasted all ammo and time trying to kill Walter whenever he randomly appeared, not realizing it would only stun him for a while.

3. I forgot this one! I never pinned the ghosts. Just let them chase me.
