What is YOUR favorite place in all of the Silent Hill games?
I would like to hear some of your opinions as to where you guys love to visit the most in Silent Hill and why! You can have more than one if you like. Starting with me, I'd say both Brookhaven and Alchemilla Hospitals because with me Ive always associated hospitals with death and traumatic experiences, as a sort of fear in a way. Plus in Alchemilla knowing that was where Alessa spent her worst years. So how about you?

What is YOUR favorite place in all of the Silent Hill games?
Personally, my favourite place from Silent Hill 2 was the Lakeside Hotel. That [virtual] architecture was amazing, and the feel of the place was creepy, intriguing and made me feel a little upper-class. *adjusts monocle*

Toluca Lake Toluca Prision in SH2 The Forest World in SH4 The Church in SH3 Nowhere in SH1 Stay Out Of My Territory |

Nowhere - SH1
Toluca Prison - SH2 Lakeview Hotel - SH2 Lakeside Amusement Park - SH1/3 Apartment World/2ND time - SH4:TR Final Boss Area - SH4:TR Hell Descent - SH:H Lair: SH:H I love the Silent Hill Series. The new games did nothing wrong whatsoever, they were developed well, and did things different. I believe that Silent Hill Downpour will make all Silent Hill fans happy. Team Silent doesn't exist, but their series does. |

Sewers (strangely enough) - SH1
Hotel - SH2 Offices - SH3 Apartment World - SH4 Theater - SHO Hell Decent - SHH Woods - SHSM  "Amy Pond, there's something you'd better understand about me because it's important and one day your life may depend on it. I am definitely a mad man with a box!" |

What is YOUR favorite place in all of the Silent Hill games?
- Heaven's Night. Always and forever. <3 I love the music played in it (I started listening to it while writing this), and I was so happy that it could be revisited in Silent Hill 3. It just feels like one of the most 'normal' places in Silent Hill, so it feels safe to me.
-Silent Hill 1 sewers. I actually HATE the sewers, but that's because they are still really scary for me -Silent Hill 4's Bar Southfield. There's just something about it. - The Church in Silent Hill 3. It's beautifully designed, lots of detail, and awesome. There is a better world. Well, there must be.  |

What is YOUR favorite place in all of the Silent Hill games?
Oh, that would be a long story.
If I were to point out specific places for each part, then I'd be at loss. Many areas seem to have the right vibe or the right looks to me, especially in Silent Hill 2. I think nobody would be surprised if I named the popular Heaven's Night (for the atmosphere and safety, as well as James' mention of alcohol and the start of Born from a Wish) and the Lakeview Hotel - both the build-up in normal hotel and the sudden realization of truth and transformation into the burned AND half-drowned Alternate Hotel. Even my brother was totally creeped out when he saw me enter the hotel and get the map with "waiting for you" note on Room 312... But I guess the winner is the Rosewater Park. It's a calm but a little unnerving (No water, a lookalike of a dead wife...) place that only has monsters when you finally find Maria (one of my favorite characters), or when you return in the Otherworld/"Night" version of town - upon which it is an awesome, dark and unsettling place. Other places would include the hospital and the church from Silent Hill 3 and quite a few places from Shattered Memories.
 I get annoyed I can't enter and buy a burger, whereas Eddie can somehow get pizza in Silent Hill ! I want pizza or a burger, too! |

Cinema - SH:O The Apartments - SH4 Silent Hill - SH:Downpour. I think the the look of the town in SH:Downpour is one of the best things about the game. Stay Out Of My Territory |

All of SH3, i just wish the environments were bigger, so you could explore them more (less broken locks).

Heaven's night - SH2
the shepherd house - SH:H silent hill docks - SH:H hell descent: SH:H otherworld hotel - SH2 Church of the holy way - SH:H Library - SH:DP that place when you're just about to leave the otherworld centennial building and the straicase is rigged and the are books floating in the air - SH:DP Henry's apartment - SH4 Alleyway - SH1 Rose heights cementery - SH:H bus crash site/forest - SH:DP real world mall/beiginning of game - SH3 many more but can't remember right now. Were off, Were off!, to foreign lands unknown, to see things never shown! |
