What is the most annoying creature?

For me it's the Pendulums( or Wasps I think they're also called).


No matter what every time one of those damn things are around I almost always get hit MULTIPLE TIMES!!!!!!


Not to mention the annoying grinding metal sound they make, almost as bad as nails on a chalkboard.

Ya' know I ounce killed a Closer with the switchblade, took like thirty stabs.

Slurpers. By far. The Pendulums are easily killed with the sub machine gun. The slurpers still get up and knock you down. But they are so goddamn cute!

Annoying gameplay-wise, Slurpers hands-down.
Annoying otherwise? Pendulums. But then again, they are one of my favorites to look at in the game. I learned the hard way that monster noises don't stop when you pause the game.

yeah those grind creatures were really annoying, but on the other hand i felt it was one of the creepiest sounds in the game. i didn't even know what they looked like on my first playthrough, i was just running like hell to get to the next door everytime the sound cam closer o0;

Slurpers for sure, those things always knocked me down and when Heather finally climbed to her feet they'd just pounce on me again! I tried putting the beef jerky down and then re-entering the room but it never worked, I always had to use my gun on them because Heather never seemed to reach them with a melee attack.

I hate those dog creatures the most X.X I mean,all of the creatures pretty much stink,but those dogs are the worst for me.They always run off then come back.I wanna scream "Make up your mind!" at them..

Slurpers! Always knocking you down. They are cool looking creatures but such a pain. Pendulums are pretty annoying too, but the sound they make is very creepy and as said before, are easily killed with the sub machine gun.

Fuck the slurpers. Hated them more than even the pendulums. You can pwn the pendulums with the Uzi or the shotgun. Slurpers? RAWWRRR!

You can either redneck them (Shotgun) or simply run like a frightened child.

My most hated would be the Pendulum. Especially the ground based ones. They're not fun. And so fast, too!

Yeah try using the slow-ass maul when you have 4 or 5 of them on you at ONCE! Not fun on Hard mode, especially on Extreme X. The maul is suicide then. Pendulums are a joke. Wait till they get close then annihilate them with the shotgun. Takes like an entire mag of Uzi ammo to put one down, so that's a waste unless you're using the Unlimited Uzi.

Yep, which is why on Hard/Extreme, the best tactic is to run like hell (even then it's hard cuz your max stamina drops so hardcore on Extreme) and hope you never get hit.
