As someone who aspires to be a writer, maybe I should write my own sequel.

I believe I speak for everyone when I say I'd love to see that work completed.

Yes Laura must suffer a fate most strange to atone for her sins.

Well laura should have had to pay, because he locked james in the room with monsters and could have died. So she deserves to suffer for her actions. I say switch cynthia out of the subway for laura. I love cynthia and wouldnt mind to see laura as the subway ghost. Kind a creepy looking too.

Laura is innocent and doesn't see the monsters.

Xuchilbara pwns.

Well anyway. There couldn't be a sequel unless you want to ruin the Happy Ending and chose the Possesed Ending.
Then it could take the role of a cult member looking for Heather or one of Heather's friend looking for her...and then finding Heather as a Psycho in a SH Asylum.
Not enjoying the idea. SH3 was really a closure for SH1. SH4 was a closure for the cult itself by making walter kill some members.
SH:H was just ending the part of the cult that was in Shepperd's Glen.
SH: Downpour will probably end Mira's power over SH. And prevent any Aliens from comming to earth ever again.

Blah...don't listen to me. I talk jibberish when bored and hungry for chocolate.

There was already a document in Homecoming detailing how Douglas went after the cult and obviously that could only happen with the Good ending being canon.

But I wouldn't if the UFO endings happened to be canon. We need more drunken, incomprehensible Japanese sing-a-longs.

Because they're real. Laura is not delusional. She's an innocent child. I think killing her would be a poor choice, I don't really like people that kill children in any case.

Religious beliefs don't simply die with the deaths of a couple of high-ranking individuals. If that were the case, then the Order would have deceased with the death of Dahlia. With a structure like the Order, the next in line would have taken their places. Konami has suggested on two different occasions that the Order is still alive "beneath the surface": one in the form of "Another Crimson Tome" on the Japanese official website and the other in the form of "Another Crimson Diary" - an extended list of entries from the late Joseph Schreiber.

Though, I feel that a story to a Silent Hill 3 sequel can be told without any involvement of the Order. Silent Hill 3's flaw was that it tried to tie things up a little too nicely, so a lot of the subplot points were either barely touched upon or just waved away.

For all intents and purposes, Heather came to Silent Hill to seek revenge. The problem is that she achieves it by killing Claudia endgame. While it's easy to justify her situation, she is essentially no better than the original trio that got called to Silent Hill.

Even with the members allegedly all gone there's nothing to stop another game from reviving it. For all we know another town may have a branch of the Order or maybe a relative of one of the dead members makes an attempt to revive and does so after a decade or so. There's plenty of potential to bring them back if one of the developers wants to in the future.

And at this point I really think we should finally get a chance to explore Brahms (or Brahams...whichever is the correct spelling). We've been to Shepherd's Glen, Heather's hometown, and Ashfield so I don't see why we can't see what Brahms has in store somewhere down the line.

In the version of the game I played, Claudia died because she didn't get herself tested for eldritch god fetus allergies before swallowing one. Not quite sure how Heather could be blamed for that.
The above post is intended to be factual, unless it isn't.

I guess some confusion can arise when determining when to place Claudia's time of death. I am under the impression that giving birth to the god doesn't kill the host. There are two cases that support this idea:

1. Alessa/Incubator returns after Harry defeats Incubus. It's clear that Alessa hadn't died when the god was birthed. What's more is that we know Alessa/Incubator and Incubus are just different forms of the same being. In that case, you may as well say that Harry is responsible for killing Alessa. However, with Harry, we can give him the benefit of the doubt because he's not used to this occult bullshit. Heather on the other hand retains her memory as Alessa...

2. In the scene where Heather gives birth to the god (the one that occurs if Heather attempts to kill Claudia or is too late in cosuming the Aglaophotis), we can hear Heather moaning (an indication that she is still alive) as the camera rises and pans downwards. Claudia celebrates the birth of the god.

So, two cases in support of Claudia still being alive after giving birth.

On the other hand, I've never heard of any reasonable explanation that Claudia died giving birth to the god. Imaginations tend to go wild here, but some would suggest that for the god of its size to emerge from a host would imply that Claudia's body exploded... Nice theory, but for one her clothes are intact, and secondly, Leonard Wolf is a pretty big fellow, but no-one suggests his body exploded...

But whatever. I guess if there's a version of the game that says Claudia died... "because she didn't get herself tested for eldritch god fetus allergies before swallowing one", you will just have to help me locate a version of that game.
