During the events of Silent Hill 4, it is never hinted that Henry has a job. What do you guys think it is? In fact, we don't even know if he has friends either.

It is hinted he might be photographer due to the pictures he's taken in his room of Silent Hill.

That's a good point, but there isn't a camera or something in his apartment...

He could have one but its in a drawer or that closet.

Yeah I think he was a photographer, and like Xuchil said, just because a camera wasn't shown anywhere doesn't mean he didn't own one. He's obviously shy and introverted, so that occupation seems fitting.

Huh. I thought there'd be a camera case on his desk. And on an unrelated note, Henry sure is a snappy dresser.

So....photographer? Maybe. I don't even care at this point.

If he had a camera in the game, it'd have to have some meaning to it. Then people would go "OMG FATAL FRAME!"

I wouldn't say that being introverted qualifies someone for one particular occupation.
It might determine how long he spends cooped up in the darkroom, however.

When I played through first time, I just assumed he was a jobless bum.
But then you notice his clothes etc and it just doesn't seem to ring true.

I would say is a photographer.to. If not Professionally then an amateur. If not a photographer than I guess just some random job that anyone could do.

I just realized that my original post in this thread was incredibly half-assed and unhelpful. My apologies to Wooden Plank for disrespecting a good discussion idea. *bows*

I don't think Henry's occupation is technically that important because so much of the story line is about unraveling Walter's and his victim's pasts. But from what little we know about him, photography seems pretty fitting.

It's either that or he was something incredibly low impact. We don't have any reason to suspect he had any higher education, and he lived in a small one bedroom apartment, so it's safe to assume he could've also been a cashier or a clerk, or something else equally as "glamorous."

The photos he took were pretty good, so he's probably a photographer. The information we're given in the game doesn't lend itself to many other speculations, so this idea works as far as I'm concerned.
