michell and maria connection????

i dont know about you but in my most recent playthrough of silent hill:shattered memories i noticed some similarities between maria and michell similaritie #1 michell is always helping you out and showing you around smiliarite #2 daliah replaces her but still knows what her and harry where talking about moments ago i dont think its a coincedence and lastly they both die and come back ( when she drowned in the frozen river) and im not surev if theres a connection but its just somthing i noticed what d o you guys think ????

2. Cybil and Dahlia both end up frozen on at least one occasion.

Maria is a hallucination that James creates.
Michelle, as well as the other characters, are Cheryl's hallucinations that are based off of real people.
So yes this is a connection, they are both manifestations.

Maria is based off of Mary, so in retrospect she is also based off a real person. Two people actually. The real life stripper and Mary.

I am thinking Michelle is based off of a girl named Caitlyn. ( Caitlyn is mentioned when you read the text when your in Theresa's clothing store. Basically Caitlyn is looking for a dress for her prom.)
Also, Michelle's boyfriend ( John?) maybe based off of Mike. ( Mike is mentioned at the school when you go up to the lunchbox or whatever on the picnic table. Basically, he wants to ask/does ask Caitlyn out to the prom)
