Assuming we get the gun from the trailer in-game, how is it going to "break?" Is he going to run out of bullets and then just throw it at a monster and never pick it back up again?
It's good that they're including realism for once, but there's a lot of ways that these concepts can go badly. I'm just being negative, though. I'm not going to know until I'm actually playing the game I suppose. I really like that there will be occasional fixed camera angles. Those are always nice.
I don't remember reading no inventory, but who knows? Does this mean no health and no bullets other than the ones you have in the gun. In a small American town, I would keep any gun I found cause I would expect to find bullets. It is certainly possible to carry a pistol, a melee weapon or rifle and a few odds and ends with civilian clothing, I don't know why there would be no inventory, I know he's not gonna stay in the jumpsuit through the whole game, any idiot knows when you escape in the county blues, you change clothes right away. Even the blues got pockets, trust me, i've worn them.
I just hope this doesn't turn into a track meet like Shattered Memories, I would like to do a little fighting. More so against regular monsters than bosses, bosses always have some lame pattern that you ALWAYS have to figure out to beat them.
