Anyone Ever Notice This Before?

That fellow on the left is Scottish actor Ewen Bremner, and of course you all know the guy on the right. Ewen is most famous (in America, anyway) for his portrayal of Spud in the 1996 film 'Trainspotting.' Not only do their characters look similar, but they behave similarly too. I am 99.997% certain that Ewen Bremner's 'Spud' was the source for Jasper Gein in both appearance and personality. I've actually been considering doing a thread based solely on character look-alikes for Silent Hill, and have posted a poll on this thread to see if anyone would even be interested. So let me know, 'cause I got a few.

You'll notice that the design on Jasper's shirt is similar to the design on Spud's; not in terms of identical shapes, but similar styling and color shading.

Those are pretty good, although I still think Sean Bean would have made a perfect James. Too late for that since he was someone else in the first movie.

I personally think Cameron Diaz would make a good Maria-type character, even though her age is starting to show lately. Even though he doesn't really look like any game characters, I also thought Edward Norton would be a good SH movie actor because 1,2 & 4 all had average looking male leads with somewhat softer voices. That, and because of "Fight Club" it wouldn't be too unbelievable for him to be kicking some ass, too.
