I'm a male, and only part that disturbed me at all was the concept of barbed wire entering someone through the vagina.

I'm a girl, and the only really disturbing part for me was what happened to Christabella at the end.
I felt it was kinda unnecessary too, there were plenty of other ways to do what they did and they chose the nastiest, most uncomfortable one. Looks pretty painful too!

Otherwise the movie didn't really scare me that much! I'm not sure why.

Despite its low scare factor, I would definitely have to say Colin (and not just when he was a monster). The idea of a person doing something like that...and THEN, watching them as a corpse coming to life and dragging themselves on the floor gagging and yelling...that was weird.
Also, Cybil being burnt alive. That was just not on. Seriously.

Scariest scene to me? Well, even though I knew they'd make it out okay (because the movie would end if they didn't), I still found the scene in the elementary school where Rose and Cybil get cornered by Mr. Head to be pretty dang scary.

In terms of disturbing, though, I HATED the armless men. Couldn't look at them straight for years. They just freaked me out too much.

Male: The rapist janitor. Burning cybil alive didnt really bother me. Splitting the evil woman in half with barbed wire didnt either, but I think that was because of the CG, it stood out too much. Also, the fog ending. It made me frustrated.
