problem with opening scene SPOILER POSSIBLE

When travis first appears to drop of alex it puts him out of the timeline. To drop of alex in his truk, silent hill homecoming must be before origins. Howevr if this was the cause how can you get reports of the following:

[spoiler]the note about a private investigator named Douglas Cartland who returned from silent hill, the story about cyble bennet who was lost in silent hill.[/spoiler]

it doesn't make sense!

I'm having a hard time understanding why it doesn't make sense?

Besides

[spoiler]Travis didn't die in Origins. . . in fact, his ending seemed to end better than most.[/spoiler]

I assume that this game takes place later in the timeline than most, if not all of the games.

Notice how 'Travis' looks older here than in 0rigins.

He seems much better off in the good ending. Did he have any reasons not to? The town was 'done' with him, as I see it. It's a speculative matter, so I won't argue too much :|

after experienceing things like that i wouldn't be found in the same state as that town let alone the next town down.
