Bad Ending

No, this isn't any kind of interpretation about the Bad Ending.

I was wondering how exactly one gets the Bad Ending. I've read that you have to kill 200 monsters to get it. However, I just beat Origins again and I got the bad ending. I killed 120 monsters. >>; That's a far cry from 200. So there's something else going on other than killing a crap load of creatures? Either that or its just less than 200, probably more like only 100.

Any help?

I killed 150 and got the bad ending aswell. o.O

You get the Bad Ending by killing 200 or more on your second or higher playthrough, so yeah, that's it.Wow I suck.

I'm pretty sure that you get the bad ending the second time you play through it no matter what.

If I can remember correctly, but yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what happens. After all, it happened to me and my brother.

I know but when i havent played a sh game in a while id like too get the more valid ending first

Which I did. So I guess I get it my third time through now.

Forgot to mention that you can get the UFO ending on the second playthrough also, and then the next time you'll get the bad ending.

Is it in Silent Hill Origins that you don't get tochoose the difficulty level at the first playthrough? Maybe that's why you get the good ending anyway.

I don't think there are any difficulty settings to choose from at all in Origins...

Hmm... well maybe that's why on the first playthrough you can only achieve that ending?
Or maybe it's the game's default setting.

yeah i also heard that running from most of the monsters helps,fighting=evil and bad ending
