Default font size for forum

Post by firecrest on Sun May 18, 2008 6:24 pm

Hi,

I normally don't complain about forum layouts and such, but I was wondering if it was possible to bump the default font size up by 1. The text is rather hard to make out sometimes.

Yes, I am using Firefox, and, yes, I am aware that I can press Ctrl++ to make the text one size bigger, but I was wondering if other people were having a similar problem, and if so, if we could change the default font size to accommodate.

Your call, of course.

1024x768x32. Pretty standard, really.

Eh, I guess that's a 'no' then,

I'm viewing the forum with IE at 1680x1050, and it looks just dandy to me...

^Actually, it does look pretty decent in IE. 'Guess I'll just use IE to visit this site from now on.

As a rule, for optimal display on a LCD computer monitor, its native resolution should always be in effect. If, say, you have a high resolution monitor that you find reading text on to be smaller than you prefer, increase the DPI setting, which will increase font size for legibility.

Incorrect. Fonts are measured in points, not pixels. Increasing the DPI (dots (pixels) per inch) will make fonts at the same point appear larger.
