Apparently, there was to be another ending to Silent Hill, but it was taken out due to budget constraints. I would have loved this ending:

Gans stated that his original vision of the film's finale revolved around six Red Pyramids appearing inside the church, each carrying a different weapon, and slaughtering the cult members in reference to Dante's Inferno. When budgetary constraints prevented this ending from being filmed, he created the new ending that revolved around the barbed wire slaying of the cult by Alessa,

That ending sounds awesome! Better than the original ending because it has SIX PH's!

It does have reputable sources, so I do believe it.

You could kind of tell that the ending was low-budget. The graphics are kind of crappy. D;

I actually read that a while ago. It would've been a lot better. And, would've given PH's purpose in the movie more meaning.

Wikipedia isn't all true information. Anyone could of said this and couldn't of been true. Although I can't say that for sure.

Everyone says that, but if it does have a reputable source or two, it may be true. Also, the Silent Hill section is heavily monitered for vandals after that one time when someone erased the entire section.......

One time, when my whole class was in the computer lab on the same wikipedia page, my friend Brittany and I tried to edit the entry.

We started writing really obscene things, but it wouldn't let us save it. xD

It would've been so funny (even if it is vandalism)! xDDD

and i heard there's a third ending wherein the church's ceiling would collapse and a beam of white light will come in. Then aliens will appear from that light and blast each and every cult members and even abduct the main characters...

Wikipedia isn't as unreliable as you'd think, sure people change things on it but more than likely it gets changed back to be correct.

Anywho, that's from an interview with Gans, he wanted the finale to have six pyramid heads, each wielding a different weapon, but they were short on time and so instead they went with the Alessa thing, which it was stated as referencing to some anime.

Second, the Alessa finale is in a reference to......tentacle rape from a very strange anime 0.o

it's actually a hentai type of anime called Urotsukidoji. (i admit, i know that anime since i already seen it

, tentacles all over... and you dont wanna know what those tentacles are)

I actually think tentacle rape is funny to watch. xD
