I gave up that idea long ago. Even with the Bloober announcement I still do not believe anything until it is officially announced with this franchise.

R.I.P. to one more rumor . The guy that have created the rumor of Sony buying several franchises from Konami, including Silent Hill, have admitted that he, well, have created it.

There is still rumors in Video Game Leaks but who cares...

I suspect if people really want's to see something from this franchise again (besides patchinco or DLCs) they will have to make it by their own. I have a project of a simple game and I know how difficult this can be, maybe I will start it next year. But that's life. He need a bit of luck, somebody with some knowledge and administrative skills can join a team to make it real. Otherwise we can only hope some meteor will fall over Konami's headquarters.
