I mean, they were both reborn, chased after by a cult, and seen creepy inanimate objects. They also lose their dad to the main female villain, which I think is way too similar to one another's ordeal. At least in my view.
I thought RE8 had some really bizarre DLC. But I reckon Capcom was paying homage to Konami. Or something like that.
