I can't quite understand why I like this more than 2. Maybe because of Heather's interesting ties to the first game. Also many parts are genuinely scary. Also it's kind of like RE2 and 3 before it, in that you go to the hospital again, like you do with the RPD. And... Helen's Bakery is basically the Gregg's of Silent Hill.
Tasty, but not so much itchy!
Konami, you broke our hearts by ending Team Silent.

This game holds a spot that sits right beside RE4 and right behind SH2 for me.

Re: My personal favourite...
I like 3 better because it has an over arching plot that is better for theories. Whereas SH2 is basically a one shot story that cannot go any further at the end....
"Speak.
I am the Crimson One.
The lies and the mist are
not they, but I.
You all know that I am One.
Yes, and the One is I." - Me, probably

During the pollen season, which is likely to begin in about another month, I will probably have to stay inside, which will give me the chance to pull out and play more games. For hay fever can be brutal, and going outside is likely to irritate my eyes and my throat. So I think it will be about time to revisit the franchise.

Re: My personal favourite...
A reason it's my favorite is admittedly because I find Heather and Douglas to be reflective of different sides of myself. Also, as horrible as Dahlia was, I find Claudia to be even more hateable. Heather's "Shut your stinkin' mouth, bitch!" is easily the most cathartic moment in the series for me.
In here is a tragedy, art thou player or audience?
Be as it may, the end doth remain:
all go on only toward death.
...
There is nothing which cannot become a puppet of fate
or an onlooker, peering into the cage.

My favourite part is the mall.
I think it's sad when you find Harry dead. He was the hero of the first game. It is tragic when the original game's hero always gets killed, like Joel.
I tried watching the second film, on which this game is based on. I honestly find it pretty boring, sadly.
