• Silent hill 2 Remake?

I never thought that Bloober would be Remaking Silent Hill 2.

But those are the rumours now.

I think remaking SH2 is a stupid idea and I have a feeling this will be a March 2012 incident all over again.

This is a real possibility. Remakes are a moneymaker so I understand why even though it would serve this IP much better by making a new game.

With multiple games supposedly in the works, is Konami really going for another "month of madness?"

That is what I am thinking because the last time this happened it was a disaster. Dropping DP down on the same week as ME3 was a terrible business decision. Most of the games didn't do as well as they could have.

There is more and more leaks that point toward this Remake being real.

Honestly, Silent Hill 1 deserves this so much more, and I say that being a HUGE Silent Hill 2 fan.

I agree. But as is typical, companies are inclined to aim for doing remakes of games that they know will make them the most money. Sadly, why Capcom shit on CV for RE4.

SH2 you could say, was where the series peaked.

This Remake is happening. Crazy how it happens before a Silent Hill 1 remake.
