Re: The Last of Us
I enjoy TLOU but I am not stoked for the remake.
"Speak.
I am the Crimson One.
The lies and the mist are
not they, but I.
You all know that I am One.
Yes, and the One is I." - Me, probably

I don't have a PS5 yet. Hoping to get one eventually. But I'm not sure if I'm fussy about buying this game at full price. I mean, it's a game they've remastered, and it's from 2013.
Although I do respect Naughty Dog and their dedication to restoring everything about it, I think I would rather pay £60 for something entirely new.

Re: The Last of Us
I have almost finished a full playthrough. I gotta say, I am really enjoying it. This version is far and away superior to the PS4 version.
When it comes down to it, it really all depends on if you want to spend the money. I mean, Naughty Dogg and Sony are in the business of making money.
This is a greatly enhanced experience, so if you want to spend the $ for it by all means. I have and I have enjoyed it.
That does not mean that the PS3 or the PS4 version will not provide an experience that's close to the PS5 version.
The narrative of the game is what carries it.
My verdict, if you can afford and/or want to spend your $ on this you will not be disappointed. But there is no need to as the older version holds up due to the narrative being as good as it is.

Watched the 1st episode of the show and I said to myself, "This is how a video game adaptation is done"
Really cool to see live action of one of my favorite video games.

I use a service called NOW to watch it. I do like it so far, but Bella doesn't look like Ellie. The guy playing Tommy doesn't seem right for the part either, but I guess as a character, anyone can portray someone. Some minor tweaks to names like the Coopers.
Definitely faithful otherwise.

Other than the Bill episode, which probably would have been better with the use of flashbacks during Bill and company going through town, I am enjoying this.thesaunderschild wrote: ↑Thu Jan 19, 2023 1:44 am I use a service called NOW to watch it.
