Thanks for this. I have never actually seen this before. I had no idea anyone saved it. It was the before times. (Before my time in the SH community, that is.)

I am surprised they decided to use green as a color scheme here.

I guess it helps the Konami/PS logos stand out more, the lightning bolts are what stood out to me.

I can't be the only one who misses when websites looked like this.

The only time I remember lightening is with the final boss. Is it a reference to that?

It's interesting how the marketing for the first game really laid into the idea that the town was virtually abandoned IRL. The Koshiki Guide Book runs counter to this with some of the "theories" it posits but I guess those descriptions would've served the purpose of not spoiling anything about the nature of the otherworld by giving a reason for Harry hardly ever running into other humans during his journey.

They're all trapped in Alessa's nightmare. Perhaps they didn't want to spoil it in the marketing. Instead playing on people's fears.
