Rick And Morty Season 6

New series of Rick and Morty.
Personally I'd become....not exactly bored and hating it. But blase and indifferent to it.
I have to say the first episode of the new series has perked my interest up.
Not the funniest ever episode. But probably the best opening chapter of a longer tale the show's ever done.
I know there's a second series of Solar Opposites. In some ways it's better. But I don't think Solar Opposites is as established enough yet to attempt what Season 6 of Rick and Morty seems like it's going to do.
So not just a thread about Rick and Morty but a thread dedicated to Season 6.
If apparently they've been commissioned to create numerous seasons. Then if it gets more ambitious I'm looking forward to the saga.
Completely impossible to have done this in first or second series.
So catch up on it and post here how it seems more overhauled and renewed.

Actually prefer this season to the last one.

Right!
It seemed even better than it ever could possibly have been for a series of Rick and Morty.
Loved each member of the family had a storyline. I didn't seem to laugh, but saying aloud the plot of the Fortune Cookie episode.
And the next wave of it starts this month in a few weeks doesn't it? Still Season 6, right?

Yeah, they just took a break. Personally can't wait for more storylines on Rick Prime.

"Previously....on Jesus Christ" was the funniest thing in the last episode. Hasn't dropped down a level in quality yet.

"Analyse Piss" was quite good. You thought it was a quiet story. Then the Jerry element got added!

It seems to be a regular feeling. You think it's going to be a weak episode and then it surprises you by being best episode so far! Excellent use of Goodbye Blue Sky as well.

Yikes! Domestic violence charges from 2020 and claims of history of abuse of vulnerable women?
Oh this is such a sad ending to the story. It had some amazing ideas. But some more lurid parts put people off.
Some saying it was only a matter of time before this blew up.
Well that'll teach me to be out of the Twitter loop!
Even if Justin Roiland says every word in the dictionary.
The show is finished if he goes down. Really tainted if he gets acquitted.
And in Rick & Morty style. A timelapse montage of all spin off merchandise sales crashing. Factories of unsold Rick & Morty merchandise exploding.
Pick your own 70's/80's Rock song or TV Theme.

PLOT TWIST!!!
Series to continue but without Justin Roiland. Who does the main voices of the two characters. Ok. See how it goes. Easier to do in a cartoon than a live action show.
Wow, being let go of a series you co-created. It was at that stage... Justin knew he'd fucked up!
