What are you listening to?
Post what you're listening to. I still need to figure out how to enable YT videos, but feel free to post links to these if you also tell us what the song is.
I'm just going to post the album cover. It's getting closer to Halloween, so King Diamond seems to be something to get into the proper mood. Good concept album.

Second Skin by The Chameleons right now. Never a bad time for Script of the Bridge these days.

In here is a tragedy, art thou player or audience?
Be as it may, the end doth remain:
all go on only toward death.
...
There is nothing which cannot become a puppet of fate
or an onlooker, peering into the cage.

I'm going to have to start playing my Bass again, but I'm loving new Manic Street Preachers album "The Ultra Vivid Lament". Last time the band had a number one album in the UK, Family Guy hadn't even been broadcast! Not even the pilot! That's why I Stan Preachers Manics. Love the lyrics and guitar solo in this.

I've been binging the hell out of Sewerslvt's newest/final album "We Had Good Times Together, Don't Forget That". It being a love letter to their late girlfriend, it really coincides with my current fears and anxieties regarding mortality.
Genre: Breakcore/Hard Techno/Industrial Noise

Re: What are you listening to?
I've been listening to Nostrum's "Parish Fair" album a lot recently; really great trance music and the track Faith is definitely one of my favorites from it. I'm already starting to almost love it as much as one of my all time favorites: PPK's "Русский Транс: Формирование".
Sometimes I feel really isolated due to my music tastes

Black Hill Sanitarium - drop me there!!! I have some albums from Nightwish, seems the same source. They have THE best version of Phantom of the Opera ever!admin wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 7:00 am Post what you're listening to. Re: What are you listening to?
Currently listening to Susumu Yokota's album "Symbol", I had to do a double take when this track came up though, see if you can guess why:

Fantastic album though. I had mostly listened to his downtempo/house oriented stuff before.

Линда - Отпусти Меня

The whole album (Плацента) is really good despite the language barrier, incorporating elements of post rock, pop, and breakbeat. I've heard some say she's like a Russian Bjork, but I don't think that's really accurate. Also, is it me, or does this song feel like it could be the theme song to a Silent Hill game?
I really love the album cover too:

Nine Inch Nails - Discipline (instrumental)

I love how taking away the vocals of pretty much any NIN song doesn't detract from it, but emphasizes Trent and Co.'s composing/production talents. I would have preferred the song didn't get shortened for the album .
