The Legacy of P.T.

^ We will be able to play it in a PS4 emulator for PC, but I think today should be very expansive to build a PC capable to emulate a PS4 in a reasonable speed.

Nobody answered me: what game had a P.T. that was not included in the final version?

PS4 emulators won't be a thing for a while when it comes to playability. I don't think there is any hardware available today that could handle it. The emulator itself would need to reach a certain level of accuracy and implementation before games could be playable with current hardware. And of course, there is always a certain balance between accuracy and speed in an emulator (the higher the accuracy, the less the "speed") Since PS4's overall architecture is based on the same contemporary ISA as modern PC's run on (x86-64), it'll be easier to get an emulator going since you won't need any code translations for the most part. The GPU in the PS4 is also the same tech as modern PC GPU's. I can see the PS4's RAM setup being a stumbling block, since it's a unified pool that's shared between the CPU & GPU and modern PC's don't really do that, at least not natively.

^ PS4 is already being upgraded, it's a sign that PC will leave classic PS4 behind soon. Usually, you probably need a PC twice faster to get a smooth emulation, so a fine combination of hard and soft is needed. I see some issues about Windows 10, El Capitan and some popular Linux distributions as Ubuntu 16, but also see great potential and soon will run smooth. You can build a big box for a PC-Gamer (already a "kind of PC") or attach an external GPU in a Mac by thunderbolt port. Nothing of this works fine today, but I think Sony see this threat near!

Happy birthday dear P.T.
I guess there's one more star in Heaven!

(And thanks to RelyOnHorror for pointing out it was released this day a few years ago)

Another user on gamefaqs did a similar thing last week.

There is no Happy Birthday in there. Blank, don't play with my mod feels.

Look closely at the Topic's Title (R3). It says Happy Anniversary!!, not Birthday. Because none of us know when the game was actually born, we only know the release date. Hence, Happy Anniversary!!, see?

Interesting think about P.T. Anniversary, since it was never been born, it was aborted... or it was an abortion?

Born = Meaning the day the game was created.

That's because I'm neither here, nor there.

As you can see, I died playing DDR!
So I guess that makes me a Dancing Spirit.

It's sad what happened to her! Her soul must be put to rest, before she can
make her way toward the Light!

The user Player_10 posted this theory at gamefaqs.

Something just hit me after finishing P.T.!

Before Silent Hills was cancelled, they had already started working on it.
Which means, there's still a Beta (Unfinished) version out there! Either with
Kojima, or still at Konami.

Now, if Kojima has it, could it be possible that Death Stranding is Silent Hills
with a few changes?

Maybe it's stored on a private server somewhere (Hint, Hint).

Doubt it, just because if Konami ever thought Kojima would try something like that they'd sue him so fast it would make his head spin. I mean they used lawyers to keep away from award shows...
