It's that hopefully some younger gamer's went and checked out the Silent Hill series. Now, hopefully they didn't check out the shitty "HD" remakes, rather went and looked up the first few games. Least with all of the coverage, the series felt important again for the first time in years.

Yeah I can see that. I saw a lot of new fans around the web because of P.T.'s rather prominent exposure. Too bad Konami is...well, Konami. It's ironic how the series has arguably been the most popular its ever been when it died.

We saw an influx of new members here too at the time. Good for them, as they have found one a true gem in this franchise, even though it's dead now....
