There's no way she was "together". At times it was like she was normal, but that's often what it's like with mentally unstable people, you think they're fine, and then they snap, which is what happened with Angela. Plus the mocap was already done, you can't act crazy when the character doesn't look it, then you're just overacting.

Maybe it's just because I really hated Donna Burke (as Angela, not Claudia) but I thought Troy Baker (James) and Laura Bailey (Angela) were the best people suited for their characters.

James was my least favorite so we're probably not going to agree. :d

I like the originals and the new VAs, but I have to disagree that the originals sounded more natural. I mean, of course the new ones are more "dramatic;" they are professional voice actors. Many times in the original VAs of Silent Hill 2, I can almost sense that this is the first time they've ever read the lines.

But that's just me.

Yes, I also agree with that, I'm not saying that the original voices were perfect. What I think is that each version has good and bad stuff and in the end I guess I stay on the originals side, probably because they made part of my 1st experience in Silent Hill, and the 1st one is always the 1st one. When you refere that you could almost sense that it was the first time they were reading the lines, I couldn't agree more with you, specially when we talk about James, voiced by Guy Cihi. However I think that it might was one of the things that made it "special" those ackward tones sounding mysterious.
Well, It was clear that the new voice actors made a different aproach, and I probably didn't enjoy that so much as I did with the originals, anyway I'm not saying that they are bad (except Ernest, I can't like him - sorry lol), but like I said, both versions have good and bad stuff. (Eddie's and Angela's new voices really make part of good stuff)

Just dropping by to say that Amanda Winn-Lee (Yukiko in Persona 4) confirmed via Facebook that she voices Heather.
