Is there a way to exit out of the HD Collection in game?

This sucks because i try to switch games and i hate to restart my syste. Usually things like this don't piss me off but this just takes the cake.

All HD Collections have been that way. It's not uncommon.

You could press the PS button on the controller and just exit to the XMB instead of turning it off and back on.

That's what I do.

I think the reason they're done that way is because a "game switch" option would somehow break immersion (and it would require them to code some entirely new things into the original games).

But I'm not entirely sure.

I think I found the solution:

If you're in the middle of a game, you can press (LB+RB+Back+Start) to soft reset and take you back to the SH2 or SH3 in game title screen (depending on which game you're playing).

Once it takes you back to the in game title screen where you can chose "new game" "load" "options" just press the "y" button and the xbox guide will ask you if you want to exit. This will take you back to the main game selection screen. I imagine PS3 version should be something similar to this method as well.

I'll check this shortly and confirm whether or not this is true.

Edit: That's a no on the PS3 version. None of the buttons will back out once you're on each games respective title screen.

Not really surprised though, since most of the other HD Collections are the same way.
