How do you guys feel about the new town Revelation has been filmed at?







Personally, I think Cambridge is a lovely town... it's also cool that they added the Green Lion Antiques and Pete's Bowl-O-Rama.

But how about Brantford from the first film? Does anyone find that set "cooler"?



If you look closely, you can see Neely's Bar, Annie's, the Pet Centre, and Ann Black. (Homecoming?)





Note: the street sign says "Katz Road" on the left, and the Lucky Jade Restaurant on the right.

So basically this thread is about your thoughts/opinions about Brantford and Cambridge; which one do you like the most? Which do you think has the better Silent Hill atmosphere? Any criticisms regarding the street sets?

I like the look of Cambridge right now, and I think it captures the Silent Hill atmosphere well.

The other set captured the atmosphere of a place which suffered an epic fire, though.

I like the looks of it too, I do see Silent Hill when I look at this, but I'm wondering if they changed the map of SH... The bowling alley is in South Vale while Green Lion Antiques is on the very north side of Central SH. Two opposites of the town. Same for Neely's Bar and Annie's Bar. Two opposite sides of SH. Though, they did get Katz Road and Lucky Jade right, since it's on that road. Or maybe I'm confused and they do A LOT of traveling through the town. Still, I like the looks of it. :3

I guess others who don't know the map by heart like me, won't have a problem with those little bits. XD I can't remember if they did the same with the first one or not. Oh well, it's not SO MUCH of a problem for me, just something that makes me wonder.

I'm still really looking forward to more I see and hear about it. There's one rumor going around that I actually have a problem with, but we'll have to wait and see.

I can say that I liked the look of the "fog world" in the first movie. It kinda looked like the downtown part of the first game melded with South Vale neighborhoods. I will have to see the movie to know how i feel about the second. If Heatherand Vincent have relations, does that make her an altar boy?

While we don't know anything confirmed about the Heather/Vincent issue, i don't think it would be a massive disaster, since i suppose she's already been with him in most of the fandom/pairing forums, so a lot of people would be excited, but im not too fond of that idea, since i like Vincent as a character for being creepy and mysterious.

But by the looks of it, he looks like a member of one direction in the set pics.

Cool the environment, I think it will produce a great visual effect! But it seams more like Shattered Memories, we'll see...
