There ya go! A 35 minute compilation of me breaking Downpour in many, many different ways. This is a project I've been working on since...I don't know around November of 2012? Yea that sounds about right.
This is the introductory trailer to a video series that is about 80 parts long. Below I'll link each video as I upload it and full discussions can be found in the video descriptions.
Here are the links. I'm doing the videos based on game sections. There are 5 sections (4 level sections and then the town).
3 years meaning I spent that time finding the stuff, practicing how to do it, and also research. There are some things I do that use multiple sequences of glitching in a specific order that otherwise wouldn't be possible without.
Not three years of actual recorded footage. That would be insane and also quite impossible for one person.
Everything I have is important and/or interesting.
But I'll watch as soon as I can, because glitches are fascinating. My only beef is with games where the glitches are so prevalent and game-breaking that it it's basically unplayable, which I don't believe is the care here... though I've only played the first 15-30 minutes of Downpour, so I really wouldn't know.
I'm totally failing on keeping this thread updated. I have a feeling it's gonna be that way until the end.
I've now posted parts 9-13 in the OP.
In part 12, I get inside Shacks Room D and get up close with the "Ghost" of the shacks area. I posted a thread about this "ghost" many months back, and now in this video I show you how I break into the room and get behind the fence to see the ghost up close.
This is a pretty major part. This time I get out of bounds and explore the Superstition Caverns. You know, part of the game only accessible during the train ride? Yea I explore that area to my leisure.
