Whats the Downpour patch? I've got it for 360 and other than a couple instances of freezing up, it hasn't been bad.

Sometimes the game slows to a crawl because it autosaves way too often. It's mostly occasional skips in framerate and stuff, but it's still bothersome. Takes you out of the atmosphere.

texture popping, screen going black at logan's park, murphy suddenly freezing, i swear its annoying as hell, i don't know if my copy of homecoming is blessed or something but i never had not even one glitch on that game in the 8+ times i played it. so i never understood what were the glitches, seems my luck was over for downpour...

SAME! I only encountered a character model glitch towards the end that made me had to restart the game, but then it didn't happen again. Only recently did I hear that people had so many glitch problems with Homecoming, because I had next to none.
I don't have any good images that I could use as a signature. So, here's a red "Q":

I never had issues with glitching with any Silent Hill game (except the HD Collection). Downpour ran just fine for me (with the occasional hiccup during saving, but it's still not as bad as some games).

Damn the internet. I read this topic title as "fap.. fap.. fap"

But yeah, Downpour ran pretty bad for me. I haven't played it since the new patch was announced, and I'm not going to play it until issues are fixed with it. It was so bad for me I deleted one of my gamefaqs walkthroughs, because I just couldn't deal with playing through again.

The hell? It hiccups during saving? Mine hardly ever saves, and it has constant random screen pauses in the town portions (like, the screen pauses but everything is still moving, so it'll jump to where things are when the screen resumes. Sometimes I'll have a screamer on my back when that happens).

From the sounds of things, I should probably not complain about it ;)

Read the fourms a little guy. There are a lot of people who have had problems with this game. Even Konami has adressed the issue (once) saying they are in the works of a patch to fix the problem. So were not just making this stuff up.

Still waiting...Didn't think it would take this long. Unfortunately I own an Xbox 360 so there's no update on my Collectors edition. Boo-Hoo. Just waiting for something new.

P.S.....Unrelated....I hate the fact the the nurses on the new movie are like the cliche homecoming nurses. Bleh.

Harry Mason still is the best....Then Murphy. :)

How exactly are the nurses in Homecoming cliche?

I think he means that the nurses look like they were ripped right out of Homecoming .

Yeah, same as others, my copy of Downpour for the 360 works just fine. Haven't had any problems with glitching. It seems some people just bought bad copies o.O

so you must have one of the few "golden copies" of downpour that has no lag moments in it? you can't tell me that it never does. it is one of the biggest complaints about the game other then the monster design.

sorry, yes the nurses were taken from the movie...I just want to see scary nurses. i hate that whenever you see silent hill stuff the nurses HAVE to be there. but im just a complainer..oh well.

No. I've actually had no problems with my game, just a some others have said as well. I just find it odd that some have problems and some don't (that's usually how it is anyways) *shrugs* I never said I had a "golden copy", just that Ive had no glitches. By the way, when I said "bad copies" I guess you didn't get that I was joking.
