Hi, I'm getting incredibly frustrated by the train ride now. It's not the puzzle at the start, it's the QTE when the Weeping Bat grabs you. I'm following the screen prompt exactly (at least it looks to me like I'm supposed to waggle the left thumbstick left to right while pressing it up) but I seem to die as if I'd pressed nothing.
I'm clearly doing something wrong, I've tried varying the speeds and even just randomly wiggling the thumbstick like an idiot til I nearly tore it off, but nothing makes any difference.
Please, what EXACTLY must I do to dislodge the Weeping Bat? Thanks.

From what I remember you just have to move the left stick left to right very fast. You don't press it down just mover it fast.
