All right, by the looks of the voting so far, Heather and James are the top ranking characters.

Please answer honestly: What is it about these two characters (or your other favorite) that appeals to you? Why is this character your favorite?

Heather is winning, with James in second place.
OMFG THAT'S THE FIRST TIME I'VE EVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT HAPPEN. /sarcasm

But it's interesting, nontheless. I voted for Douglas.

I wonder what would happen if Murphy was there.

He is in the lead in the Favorite Protagonist thread on Hell Descent.

Don't forget Henry is in third place^^ He could outrun James anytime soon, hopefully(sigh...)

Murphy would've been on here, but unfortunately when I started the poll the game still had an iffy release date. One of these later days I'll remake it, but it probably won't be for a while.

I'm happy to see others beside Heather and James getting the love, especially Douglas (yay!). =D

All right, this is a bump and update. 2 votes away from 100! And top two are now Heather and Alex, so this brings up a question I really have to ask for you Alex fans.

Why do you like him? I'm not a fan of Homecoming or Alex as a character, so I'd like to be able to understand why fans who do like him well, like him.

Let me first say that this is a terrific idea. I love that you took the time to set up such a thorough poll.
I voted for Lisa (SH1). There has really been only a few fictional characters that I genuinely care about. Lisa is most certainly one of those. What I love about her is how she wields such tragedy, such a lack of redemption, with triumphant grace. She is something I can relate with when I look within (within the darker bits).
Meeting her in the hospital was such a relief, a ray of light. Finally someone to relate to, to connect with amidst the sanguinary. Despite the drugs, and despite the maddening effect of taking care of Alessa, she was a pure soul.

After her "death" :cry:

I never thought she was fully lost as a demon nurse. When she ascends through the floor at the end, she knows to get Kaufman. She also had to have the sense to follow Harry to the 'end'.

I know Lisa's story is argued, but I believe in the best in her. To me she is a personal concept. One that I adore.
(Nurses and blood are awfully compelling too)^^

I actually hope to have the final results up soon. I'm looking to get a few more votes though because there are still a few ties in the polls and I'd like for there to be not any when I close them so it could be more fair.

Out of the top 15 thus far, the bottom 15th character has a total of 2 votes. and there are many many many more characters below said 15th. 0.0

Fingers crossed the ties break soon. The ones at the top of the list are pretty definite wins, it's just the ones at the bottom of the list.
