Did everybody play RE8?

I personally liked it as something to kill a few days. However, the story and the bosses, even for this series, I didn't think suited the overall tone of the series.

I mean, one guy basically becomes a robot, and Chris is just not like Chris any longer. Not to mention the living puppet and the vampires.

I have not played RE8 yet but I have seen a playthrough. Loved it. It's my new fave RE. Prior to that it was RECVX.

I really enjoyed the playthrough. Story was great. Some disliked the addition of this kind of Werewolf/Vampire addition to the lore but I really enjoyed it.

Rebecca Chambers is apparently returning in a spin off, or at least a non numbered sequel of sorts. So I do look forward to learning more about that.

Hoping the new movie will be done well.

Is it possible that Rosemary ages quicker because of her mould ability? Because I think had she aged normally, Chris would be an old man by now.

That's something like 20 years to an ordinary person.

I've seen others suggest this idea and it may be true as Evie did.

That makes sense.

Loved how they used the age of Evie in RE7 to keep you guessing....

Tokyo Game Show is next week. I heard rumours about the unconfirmed DLC getting a small trailer.

I'd like the content to focus on why the BSAA sent bioweapons to the village. This will hopefully help to eventually verify if the new (blue) Umbrella Corporation is good or not. I also want to learn more about the Connections, mentioned in Not a Hero during RE7.

I didn't dig it. I absolutely adored Resident Evil 7. Loved it. However that was a game who's story I felt was better as a one off type of thing. Village just didn't do it for me at all but it's still better than the direction the series was going in with RE 6.

Also I hate, hate the Factory section and boss fight. Worst part of the game for me.
