Guide Question For Shattered Memories

Post by catbelly36 on Sat May 24, 2014 10:07 pm

Hi everyone. I'm new to the site and was wondering if anyone might know if it's possible to use (for example) a strategy guide that's for the PS2 version with the PSP version of the game? I want to play this game but don't have either system anymore, so I thought I'd find out about the guide ahead of time.

Thanks for your help!

Guide Question For Shattered Memories

Hi! I'm not sure I understood, do you have the PSP and wanna play using a guide for PS2? As far I know, the SH games are all the same for all consoles (if there is a version for it). For Shattered Memories, I advise you not to use a guide, you'll not be "playing" actually.

Guide Question For Shattered Memories

Hi there. Thanks for responding to my post. I meant to say that I don't have a PS2 or a PSP anymore, but was thinking of getting a PSP so that I could play it. The only guides I was able find on eBay were for the PS2 version though, and I wasn't sure it would be the same instructions for both versions.

It sounds like I might not need a guide though from what you said. Was it really easy and you didn't need one?

Thanks for your help!

Guide Question For Shattered Memories

Shattered Memories is not difficult at all. It's a straightforward game, and anything you don't get on your first playthrough, you could try getting on a second playthrough: the game is short too.

In general, I try not to use guides because they take away from my sitting down and experiencing the game.

I'm with fromelmstreet. But there is some puzzles that you might be a problem, and you might want to explore all corners of the game. So here is something:

I advise you to play two times before use it. And post your thoughts for us!

Thanks Pinentidhead. I appreciate the link and I'm looking forward to getting the game and a system to play it on. It's been way too long since I've played a Silent Hill game!

PS--I'll definitely come back and let you guys know what I think. : )
