Silent Hill Community • View topic - The real reason this game is such a failure

It's become increasingly clear to me the more I considered it. This game has one glaring fault that was just too insulting to let slide. I could not and would not ever forgive the creators for this transgression and will undoubtedly be writing a host of complaints to them because they obviously did this just to spit in our faces. It's a complete disregard for canon and causes undue harm to the entire series and mythos in the process.

I'm of course talking about how they replaced Robbie the Rabbit with a silly Toucan.

Those rat bastards, who do they think they are? :lol:

Hey, at least Tookie the Toucan honors Robbie the Rabbit by being every bit as alliterative a name.

For some reason the UFO ending of Silent Hill: The Arcade comes to mind. Those who have seen it know what I'm talking about.

How do you go about getting a copy of it?

Probably look one up on Amazon or eBay. I've never played the game. Only watched people play it on youtube. But you can look the ending up on youtube. It's mildly interesting in that the UFO ending turns out to be Robbie the Rabbit playing a video game.

I've played this game in a zx-spectrum computer, that was a long time ago...

I don't get the point of the topic, why Robbie should be in the game if he's not in SH1?

@OP. I'm sorry, but I agree. Toucans are just not scary creatures. Couldn't they have used some animal a little more, Rabbit-like?

The toy, like a little elephant that is in the beginning and before she faces her mother, and the dog that is a plus horrible lost for her.

Let me remind people that this game is not a "horror survival" kind. I prefer see it like an experiment. So I don't know why Robbie should be there.

Don't worry, I was just joking, lol. I just thought it was funny that they replaced Robbie with Tookie. I'm sure someone was really complaining about that for real at some point.

Actually, isn't Tookie a mascot of the mall while Robbie is the mascot of the amusement park? Maybe they're rivals XD
