What about REVEAL SPOILER that scene where you have to escape the car? When the Otherworld can take hold literally in the middle of a conversation? When one minute Lisa's fine and the next she's dead on her couch? Perhaps scary is a poor word for this game...it's unsettling if you stop thinking about it in terms of traditional Silent Hill. It's unsettling in the way it plays you (in the monster design and the way the game changes depending on your choices and play style). It's unsettling in how isolated and empty the place seems. It's unsettling in how you can tell something's not right but you can't quite put your finger on what. Maybe that's just my opinion, but I think it's unfair to say this game isn't at all scary. My God what a great game! I didn't see the twist coming. I was expecting Dr K REVEAL SPOILER to turn into a great big monster and the whole thing turned out to be hell. It was a massive move away from what Silent Hill games play like, and yet it was still a Silent Hill game. I ended up with a REVEAL SPOILER leather jacket and pink sweater and it ended with a home movie of a threesome about to take place But that's good, right? Top

The Silent Hill franchise is comprised of 3 different alternate universes. The Silent Hill main series is one, Shattered Memories is one, and then the movie series is another. Top
