Wish me luck....am about to play this!

When I played, I was routinely gang-raped by the monsters, especially in the streets. They never waited for me to finish off other creatures. The only time this seemingly happened was when the monster I was fighting was physically in the way of the other(s). Order members on the other hand were surprisingly stupid for being humans and all, but that's not too surprising.

Yea, if you manage to collect a bunch of enemies in the streets, the stun lock doesn't really work anymore. I guess the monster hive mind realizes what's going on and is like "nuh-uh, man. We rule the streets."
There was a SIGNATURE here. It's gone now.

If it's your first time playing it, you will most likely enjoy it. The game can feel a little monotonous at times, but whatever, just continue to push through. Once you understand the button combinations/enemies weaknesses, it should be a walk in the park. It really is a great game to run through two or three times, too.

Homecoming is my personal least favorite of all the Silent Hills, but it's not horridly bad. Just, learn to dodge. Might wanna take a little bit of time to practice dodging, and after than you should be alright. But keep in mind that dodging does glitch out sometimes and not work.
There was a PIE here.
It's PYRAMID now.

I thought this was a good, fun game to play. It's what got me into SH. I honestly liked everything about it. I just would have wanted more easter eggs from the previous games to be included.

- Like the others have already said, all you really need is the knife, unless you're fighting a boss. Take out the Smogs with your pistol and use the shotgun on the Siams - you should be good to go. Every enemy has an attack pattern. Once you memorize them, they're easy to defeat.
- Be careful when closing your inventory after finding a serum. They're super easy to use on accident.
- Don't save in the Hell House level. It sometimes messes up the game.
- Explore the Hell Descent level thoroughly. There is an upgraded weapon in there that people often miss.
- Rotate your saves. Sometimes some of the puzzles are glitched.

- Take a shot every time you want to strangle that little brat Joshua.
- Take a shot every time an NPC is being an asshole for no reason whatsoever.
- Take a shot every time a Needler glitches and freaks out.
- Take a shot every time the textures mess up and Alex mysteriously loses his eyes.
- Take a shot every time some dorky Order Soldier shouts "IMMA CUT YOU UP, SON!" while wielding a crowbar.
- Take a shot every time Wheeler says something to ruin the mood.
- Drink the whole bottle if you get an ending that doesn't make sense.

Enjoy. If we never hear back from you again, I'm blaming myself.

Any idea what Silent Hill game you'll play next? And what ending (Spoiler tag it to be safe!) did you get?
Would you play Homecoming again? Questions!

Good to hear.

I finally bought it on PS3 (only had PC version before and it would lag and crash on my old computer) and still need to play through it on a console, which will probably be more enjoyable.

This drinking game is honestly one of my favorite things to ever exist.
Heather is my spirit animal, and Alessa is my Stand.

I found it pretty decent and enjoyable, the only thing I could say is that I had the feeling that lacked certain magic and it wasn't sufficiently "twisted" for my taste. Although this is a personal feeling. I believe that at some point I should replay it.
